I’m glad I watched this with my eleven year old son, even if he did have to awkwardly pat my knee to comfort me when I started crying during this scene.
This is one of the things I loved about this episode: they showed the aftermath of the tragedy. It wasn’t glossed over. You saw the memorial service and the Doctor was there for her new friends. I hope there’s always time for these little moments even as the adventures happen.
